As with actors, there are many programs that cater, or try to cater, to the needs of directors. Like our acting class, we tailor our program to fit the needs of the individual.

Many directors who come out of film schools do not have extensive experience working with actors. Often they are more equipped to talk to their DP than they are their leading players. Whether you are working with an actor with a background in method acting, classical theatre training, or autodidactic, we can help you hone your communication to something they will relate to and respect.

Our directing programs always keep in mind that the most important fundamental for a director is to understand and communicate STORY to the actor(s). Therefore, no director goes very long without putting theories into practice. To be a great director, you have to direct.

We also have programs in place to teach actors or writers who want to transition their primary art into directing by teaching the Five Fundamentals of Directing.
